The purpose of the Art program at Rolesville Elementary School is to provide developmentally appropriate art experiences for all children in grades PreK-5.

Children on every level explore a variety of media: clay, painting, printing, drawing, making sculptures, etc. Each class comes to art once a week.

Children's creativity is valued at Rolesville Elementary. Throughout the school you can see this in the clay alphabet tiles in the cafeteria,  framed art work in the hallway, clay wall tiles in the media center and in the "Masterpiece of the Week" display outside the art room.

Yes! Visual art is thriving at Rolesville Elementary, where there are numerous opportunities for children to participate in, grow and shine through the arts.
