Menus

Lunch/Breakfast Numbers:
At the beginning of the school year, students are given lunch/breakfast numbers. This number is used to identify students, their lunch status, and if they have money in their account. STUDENTS MUST KNOW THIS NUMBER. Please assist your child in learning this number.

Breakfast:

Students participating in the daily breakfast program should report directly to the cafeteria upon arrival at school.  We will serve breakfast between 8:45 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. except for those students who arrive on late buses.   Students arriving after this time will not be permitted to participate in the program.  This is one area we must have strong parent support.  Having a good breakfast is essential in order for children to perform at their best.  However, we must start all classes by 9:15 in order to provide our children with the best possible education.  The cafeteria staff must also start preparing for lunch.  Any delays influence the entire school.

Breakfast Prices:
Full Paid - .80
Reduced - .30

Lunch:

Students have the choice of bringing their lunch or purchasing lunch from the cafeteria.  Prepay option is available for meals.  Once the student has prepaid, the amounts of the meals purchased are subtracted from the child's account. Wake County also offers AUTOPAY as a payment option to parents and guardians.

If a child forgets his/her lunch, he/she will be given a vegetable plate.  A fund for lending money is available to each student from their classroom teacher. This money must be returned to the teacher so that money is available to other students as needed.  Students may not leave campus during the lunch period.  We do not allow students to purchase extra items unless they have purchased lunch or brought lunch from home.  The extra items are not intended to take the place of a healthy lunch.

Lunch Prices:
Full Paid - $1.75
Reduced - .40

Free/Reduced Lunch Applications:
Parents can request an application to apply for free or reduced lunch. They are then submitted to Food Services where they determine if parents qualify based on income. Once the applications are completed, parents must complete a new application if their income changes.

Positive Behavior Support

The Positive Behavior Support Initiative is a program designed to assist staff in developing and enhancing a school wide Behavior Support System using a variety of positive strategies.   As a result of the PBS initiative, staff members will gain skills to support increased improvement in the overall classroom and school climate.  Research supports the Positive Behavior Support Program initiatives leading to higher academic performance for all students.
